I’ve Been Where You Are

I’m Pav Khaira. You might recognise me as the host of the Dental Implant podcast or as a speaker on implants at dental events and symposiums.

My students have called me The Titani-Nerd, the Chat GPT of implants and the Wikipedia of Implantology. They say I’m obsessed with the science of implants. If you noticed the titanium wedding ring I chose for its association with the profession I love, you might be inclined to agree.

They’re right. I am obsessed. But I’ve learned that obsession—when channelled into relentless pursuit of mastery—becomes the difference between dentists who refer cases out and dentists who confidently handle what others can’t.

Along the way, I’ve successfully completed +11,000 implants, +1000 complex full-arch cases (and many more simple implant cases). And I’ve also trained almost a hundred delegates to do the same, right here at The Academy of Implant Excellence.

The Academy of Implant Excellence is my way of sharing my passion and ensuring more people like my grandfather can access life-changing treatment, sharing everything I’ve learned (mistakes and all!) and offering the training and support I wish had been available when I first started out.

The Academy of Implant Excellence is my way of compressing that £350K education and 18 years of obsessive learning into a systematic pathway.
